In academic exchange and cooperation field, Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics(AIOFM) has established long-term cooperation with many domestic Institute, universities, and enterprises.

AIOFM has established international cooperation, academic exchanges and trade relations with United States, Germany, Japan and through more than 20 countries and areas,and built radar observation network in Asia, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Organization of environmental monitoring technology centers, and other cooperative projects and organizations.
